Why, hello there!

Nice meeting you, my name is Katharina!

I am a freelance illustrator & graphic designer with a passion for everything cute and colourful.

After graduating from the Advertising Academy Vienna with a 2-year-diploma in graphic design in 2013, I went on to work for a publishing house and an advertising agency – until eventually, I found myself happy being self-employed with various private and corporate clients.

Besides my love for tidy, clear and minimalist layouts, I also create cute and fun illustrations with vivid colours and lots of sparkles.

My Work

Let’s get personal.

A few fun facts about me.

I have always loved drawing. It was my favourite pastime starting from a very young age. You could easily find me doodling on scrap sheets from my dad’s office, reading fantasy books or watching anime, anytime of the day.

I love making up stories, putting them into drawings and creating little magazines or books out of them. In a way, I am still doing all those things, yet a little more professionally.

My favourite music genre is rock. I love going to rock concerts to sing and dance my heart out. If I feel comfortable enough, you might even find me in a mosh pit.

I absolutely love colours. You might not think it at first glance (since I mostly wear black), but I love using colour in my work, sketching with coloured pencils and dyeing my hair all shades pastel.

I am obsessed with plants. It all started with a tiny spider plant I got from my mum and has grown into a small collection since. You can find plant propagations in every room of my home. I also dream of a huge garden to grow my own vegetables and sow lots of wild flowers.

The peanut butter to my jelly.

This is Peanut.
He loves peanut butter almost as much as I do.

Peanut keeps me company while I illustrate and daydream. He is my muse (sometimes) and my distraction (most of the time). He has seemingly endless amounts of energy, loves to play and run, but also never skips on naps or cuddles – especially in the sunshine!

I adopted Peanut in summer 2023 and he has been the apple of my eye since then. We still have a lot to learn from each other, but we’re growing as a team every day ❤️
